Starting of a Journey - Photo feature
I have spent the last week at Kolkata. I took a day off to roam around the places mentioned in the story Starting of a journey. I am sharing these snaps with you all. I hope the regular readers will find these interesting.
This is the main Kali Temple of Dakshineshwar. Sri Ramkrishna used to worship Kali mata In this temple. This place is associated with Sri Ramkrishna, Swami Vivekanada and many other great people of Bengal.
The Ganga ghat at Dakshineswar. Devotees take a deep at this place before going to the temple.
The Ganga at Dakshineshwar. One can take a boat ride from here to go to Belur Math, which is the headquarter of Riamkrishna Math order.
Twelve Shive Temples adjoining the Kali Temple. We have seen Geeta offering Puja at Kali Temple and Shive Temple.
